One Deep Breath - "Delicious Autumn"

Fall covers summer
temperatures fall with leaves
natures last hurrah

Brown, yellow and orange
earthtones to warm our spirit
winter closing in

Leaves falling like rain
crisp breeze stirs the leaves in air
sacred dance of fall

Beautiful haiku, especially the second - I love the idea of the colours warming us during the cold.

These are all gorgeous - I especially like "nature's last hurrah" and "earthtones to warm our spirit" and "sacred dance of fall." Brilliant, Tammy! Well done, you! xo

I forgot to say as lovely as that photograph is, I wouldn't want to be the one raking all those leaves! :)

'fall covers summer', indeed. the remnants of summer can only just be found.

i love these, Tammy and am only just coming to terms with the end of summer. (but the thought of crisp autumn mornings is actually quite appealing-bring on the ugg boots and comfy jumpers!)

i really like this photo-i haven't seen any wutumn leaves yet.....

Our leaves haven't turned yet, but when they do, they will look like this.

These are all beautiful :)

I think my very favorite line is the last one: sacred dance of fall :)

As a Winter person, Fall brings out my impatience, “are we there yet!” … With the exception of playing in piles of leaves, now that is worth pausing for.

Isn't fall lovely? There's nothing like cold days, a fire burning, coffee in the morning, and cuddly kids to warm ya up.
I love your haiku, "nuture's last hurrah". Wonderful :)
