beautiful poem, Tammy. Multiple commenting here; I loved the picture of TK. Can't believe he is that old already. I just absolutely adore babies; treasure every minute you can with him. Congrats on another of your children deciding to go down the road of matrimony. Never a dull moment at your house, I'm sure :)
This is so appropriate, especially with all that is going on with Israel now also. I can see I have a lot of catching up to do here at chez warrior; I've missed out on a lot this week.
I find something remarkable about this picture. One white woman, one white man, the rest of the soldiers are black. I am not making any sort of judgment here. I simply noticed this and how we are all brothers in arms. I grieve for all that are lost and will be lost.
I'm a woman who is on a mission to educuate people about ALS. 15 cases diagnosed a day in the US. There is no cure and most die between 2-5yrs.
Ask me about ALS?
I have lived w/ALS for 19yrs and found love 6yrs ago after 13yrs as a single mom. Now I have my 4yr old grandson and love to keep me going. I am not ALS it's just a part of who I am. It has been a blessing to have been given time to cut through the crap and see the beauty in life.

I remember seeing this photo and it brought a lump to my throat. Great poem, Tammy. Such a waste. :(
