One Deep Breath- "The Sound of Music"

Music is a gift

freeing emotions within

healing can begin.

Notes long forgotten

transport us into the past

memories revived.

Ooooh, I like both of these. Music is associated with almost everything and never fails to bring back those memories with even the first few notes. Music has so many sides to explore. Thanks, Tammy!

Beautifully said, Tammy. You've perfectly expressed two of the most important things about music. "Music is a gift," and creates healing in so many ways. I love it! And oh, the memories it revivies. Exquisite.

both so true,
isn't it amazing how an old song can send you back in time??
your photos work so well, too!

You have the GREATEST talent for writing seemingly effortless haiku. It's amazing. They are just what they should be - elegant eloquence!

My mind is filled with thoughts of healing these days - of ways that we hurt our bodies and ways we can heal. But honestly, I haven't given music the correct credence in the healing process - specifically my healing process. Creating music is one of my gifts I have neglected. Your simple words have opened my eyes. Here again, you are a blessing to me!

What can I add to the above? Not a whole lot. Great haiku, and excellent choice of photos to go with them.

wonderful haiku, tammy.

the second photo seems kind of sad, though i did once unearth a whole box of those once and had a lot of pleasure playing through them. so it's true!
