Self Portrait Challenge- "With Someone"

September is "with someone" month - that means you must include someone else in your self portrait. Someone meaningful to your life or to the moment or to a specific event that you wish to document. Do you have a special relationship with someone? Is there someone in your life that makes you feel as if your life is the pinnacle of living? How do you feel when this person walks in to the room?

My Grandbaby

I was told I would never see my children graduate high school, much less get married and have children. I have been given the gift of time and every time I look into these eyes I remember the value of each moment in my life. When he visits I am in his face and constantly kissing, touching, talking and holding him. I need him to remember me, and as I write in my blog it is him I am writing for. My heart fills with such joy when I see him that I'm sure he feels my soul touching his. It's not about how often I see him or what I can't do with him, but I'm alive to love him. Our connection is fierce and will extend beyond time. I love you TK!

You have inspired me again (to try the self portrait challenge). You don't know how beautiful YOU are! (He is beautiful, too. How could he not be?)

My little guy has now reached the age where he only want mom or dad. I frustrate him with my intensive attention and it only after he has been with me most of the day that he will let me hold him.

He is so precious and adorable! No wonder you're such a proud gran! And your piece - and your blog - are wonderful tributes to the little cherub. He's blessed to have you for a grandmother, just as much as you're blessed to have him as a grandson. Beautiful post!xo

It is wonderful that you are doing this blog for TK. Back it up for that someday when it is one of his greatest treasures....the internet is unpredictable so I think it would be a good idea.

I love that you take so many pictures of you...words,pictures,voice....these are the things that we treasure as a legacy.

I am glad that you have gotten to spend so much time with the ones that you love.
