One Deep Breath - Twilight/Dusk Haiku

Day slinks into night
quickly dressing in color
her shift now over

Pretty in pink
lavender ruffles billow
orange fire rages

Golden halos
fading light shines through the clouds
heaven calls into the night

Blues of twilight
backdrop of glittering stars
moon smiles down

Ooh, I really like the image of day changing outfits -- I picture her as a waitress or checkout person, taking off her uniform and donning an enchanting twilight-colored slip dress!

Also like the element of sound in the "golden halos" ku.

thanks!

I loved these, Tammy! It just spoke to me so well of how beautiful nature is and all the colors she shares with us throughout the day.

Since I am a MOON person I really LOVE that Tammy thought! The moon smiling down as I smile up to it! Just last night by it's light I saw the snow glistening and twinkling! Beauty Full! I'll be thinking of Tammy now tonight as I smile at that beauty full MOON! ;)xoxoxoxoxo, Cinda
