- I'm a woman who is on a mission to educuate people about ALS. 15 cases diagnosed a day in the US. There is no cure and most die between 2-5yrs. Ask me about ALS? I have lived w/ALS for 19yrs and found love 6yrs ago after 13yrs as a single mom. Now I have my 4yr old grandson and love to keep me going. I am not ALS it's just a part of who I am. It has been a blessing to have been given time to cut through the crap and see the beauty in life.

I kept asking my officemates just now what is ALS...and they told it's an Alzheimer's disease? Are they right?
But then, you are right...those inflicted would just die, leaving an enigma to all!
