These two poems are just beautiful - and that second one is especially touching, Tammy. They are so young and risking so much for us...At least they found a moment of peace along the way. XO
I love the first one especially, and the way you manage to find the perfect photo to go with your words (or do you find the photo first and then find the perfect words to go with it?)
I am still having trouble reading your text against the patterned background. I have to highlight the text with my mouse to see it...must be some setting on my PC since no one else is complaining.
The first one is great. I love the image of 'breathing into each other' - as if they are keeping each other alive, enriching each other, together even whilst unconscious.
These are wonderful, Tammy... and I am so sorry about the loss of your friend, Helen. I just read about it on the ODB site... You were a true friend to her and thank you so much for sharing her beauty with us... Bless you and her... xoxo
the first time I read "two dreams become one" it felt like the unsleeping parts were mingling in the air while the bodies slept. When I read it again, I remembered how two people share common dreams. Both levels are beautiful. Thank you.
I'm a woman who is on a mission to educuate people about ALS. 15 cases diagnosed a day in the US. There is no cure and most die between 2-5yrs.
Ask me about ALS?
I have lived w/ALS for 19yrs and found love 6yrs ago after 13yrs as a single mom. Now I have my 4yr old grandson and love to keep me going. I am not ALS it's just a part of who I am. It has been a blessing to have been given time to cut through the crap and see the beauty in life.

The first is beautifully romantic. The second is sobering because it is so true, it makes you think how vulnerable they really are.
I really like the first with the feet photo!

The first one is so beautiful, the second so sad. Great poems, Tammy.

Both of these are beautiful Tammy. The last one a little sad, but then again, the political state of our world is sad. Well done!
Love the first one--the security of being close to a loved one allowing you to sleep peacefully.
And the soldiers, how do they sleep at all with the stress they must be under?
Beautiful poems, you have such depth. The one with the feet tickled me and brought a smile.
XXOO!
I just love how these two poems weld together into one perfect one.
Hugs to you,
Nancy
Wow, these are both great. I really love the soldiers...I want to hug and kiss them. They all look like my brother.

Wonderful, both. The soldiers really sticks with me. I imagine everyone's dream faces do that. Thank you for pointing that out.
