EMPS #25 Birds / OSI #51 Spectral

http://ellipsissuddenlycarly.blogspot.com/

Horizontal white
distorts shapes into phantoms
frozen signs of life

There has been no signs of birds up here in Northern California so I got creative. This is a swan vase that held a red rose on Valentine's Day. She stayed afloat with the ice from our pond. Can I get extra credit for a white bird? LOL

I hear a Swan song
gliding across my heart strings
melting winter's wrath

Hi Tammy :)

You sure do get extra credit! What a gorgeous vase! And how romantic! It's so pretty, I would love to find something like that, but not until the little demons...lol...I mean cute kittens get a little bigger. :) Good job sweetie!

Always, Carly

Perfect post as always. You can see something where others miss the connections! Sounds as though you are feeling healthier after the doctors proddings and pokings and whatever!

I almost didn't see the vase, and then when the shape caught my eye, it suddenly came into vivid focus. Wonderful! The Swan song words you wrote were gorgeous.

The swan is beautiful ... Tumblewords said it better than I could.

Thr warmth felt hearing the swan song could certainly melt the harsh winter snow.

What a great idea! I got a couple of a glass swans figurine just next to the computer but they are not exactly white, more opaque.....

Extremely creative; I like that it's such a subtle swan. Yes, I want to know it goes with all your snow.

I had to look twice to see her - she's almost camouflaged - but now that I do see her - she looks all the more beautiful and ethereal floating there, like a swan from fairyland...
I guess the Groundhog was right, and we are getting 6 more weeks of winter - brr - that looks really cold! Stay warm! xOx

Great improvising. looks coooold where you are. Here in Sunny South Florida it's been in the 80's without a cloud in the sky this week.
