One Single Expression - Tremble

Hope
optimistic faith
seeing the light
protected from trembling darkness
acceptance

Photo: My yard filled with a sunset's streaming light. I could see a perfect little tree basking in the last kiss from the sun. Do you see it? This inspired my cinquain for May's ALS Awareness Month. ALS is known in other countries as MND. (not a great shot with my camera but awesome live)

A cinquain has five lines.
Line 1 is one word (the title)
Line 2 is two words that describe the title.
Line 3 is three words that tell the action
Line 4 is four words that express the feeling
Line 5 is one word that recalls the title

I love it, and thanks for the cinquain explanation. I'd forgotten all about them. (I'm slowly stumbling out of an anti-poetry phase of my life.)

I like the idea that the darkness itself is trembling. This could be expounded on to great effect some other time. If I forget and use it, don't hate me. =)

you have written with ease Tammy...:)

A cinquain? I tried once but my friend told me, I can make better than what I did, so I totally dismissed the idea of writing a new one...:) May try it again soon.

I love the message of your poem, being optimistic is best, right?

Nice cinquain. I didn't know that MND is the same as ALS. Your photo is exquisite - the light warms the perfect tree! Yes!
