Tammy! I love the snow angel picture - you can just "feel" your joy! I threatened to go make one on our deck yesterday, but never got bundled up to do it! The tree pic is just gorgeous!
O, man...you should see the snow here! we woke up to four inches of snow, and it snowed all day yesterday. Now there's a ton of it--beautiful, but sooo cold! Supposed to snow again Thursday, so we'll have a white Christmas! Your plans for the mountain house sound wonderful! Moving is always a stressful, worrisome time, but it sounds like it will be a great move for you guys. Loved the snow angel, too!
'flurries of silence' - what a beautiful line, T... and these photos are captivating! we haven't had any snow yet but seeing these makes me hope for snow on xmas day :-) love to you xox
I'm a woman who is on a mission to educuate people about ALS. 15 cases diagnosed a day in the US. There is no cure and most die between 2-5yrs.
Ask me about ALS?
I have lived w/ALS for 19yrs and found love 6yrs ago after 13yrs as a single mom. Now I have my 4yr old grandson and love to keep me going. I am not ALS it's just a part of who I am. It has been a blessing to have been given time to cut through the crap and see the beauty in life.

Snow angels! I love making snow angels (as long as I can run inside and get out of my snow-encrusted clothes!).
My favorite line: "flurries of silence"
It's so good to have you back posting, Tammy.
Ugh! I'm so tired of Blogger and its many quirks. Apologies if this comment shows up more than once.
It's good to have you back posting more regularly, Tammy.
I love making snow angels but don't want to do it too far from home (I need the security of a warm spot to shuck the snow-encrusted clothes).
My favorite line: "flurries of silence"
Winters veil falls - perfect! Also, love the new song on your blog ... yeah! Merry Christmas. Much peace and holiday cheer, JP
Oh, how your blog made me smile today! I love it.
:)
Hi Tammy
These are both really lovely. The photo of the blizzard brought forth great memories for me. I love the image of a "winter veil."
Oh, Tammy, I loved the picture of you making a snow angel! Beautiful Haikus!!! I love the song, too, it's Sarah and my favorite.
I love the last lines of both poems. "Powdered sugar days" - I hope we get a few of these this winter! Thanks for making me smile today!
Great photo and evocative words... REALLY eager for some snow now!
What a wonderful way to start my day...with this journal entry. Love the pic...the haiku...the song. You're terrific, Tammy!
Thanks...
Love,
Nancy
These are fantastic haiku and photos, Tammy! Makes me long for snow, which is predicted here, but yet to materialise.
The photo of the trees is stunning! I love the lines 'powdered sugar days' and winter's veil falls. (It's frosty here today, real winter at last!)

Beautiful haiku and pictures! I love the snow angel.
This is just beautiful. I love powdered sugar days.. so appropriate for Christmas. No snow out here for Christmas. :(
Yayyy - what fun!!!!
Great pics, Tammy :-)
I especially love the 2nd haiku! I woke up to a snowy world today, first time I've seen snow in several years!
I love the contrast of both haiku. The first is fun-filled snow play and the second encompasses winter's serenity. Lovely!
Wow. These are great! Were these taken where you live?! Beautiful...
