One Deep Breath - "Storm" Haiku

Making snow angels
tasting snowflakes from the sky
powdered sugar days

Winters veil falls
landscape blurred in natures wrath
flurries of silence

Snow angels! I love making snow angels (as long as I can run inside and get out of my snow-encrusted clothes!).

My favorite line: "flurries of silence"

It's so good to have you back posting, Tammy.

Ugh! I'm so tired of Blogger and its many quirks. Apologies if this comment shows up more than once.

It's good to have you back posting more regularly, Tammy.

I love making snow angels but don't want to do it too far from home (I need the security of a warm spot to shuck the snow-encrusted clothes).

My favorite line: "flurries of silence"

Hi Tammy

These are both really lovely. The photo of the blizzard brought forth great memories for me. I love the image of a "winter veil."

These are fantastic haiku and photos, Tammy! Makes me long for snow, which is predicted here, but yet to materialise.

The photo of the trees is stunning! I love the lines 'powdered sugar days' and winter's veil falls. (It's frosty here today, real winter at last!)

Tammy! I love the snow angel picture - you can just "feel" your joy! I threatened to go make one on our deck yesterday, but never got bundled up to do it! The tree pic is just gorgeous!

O, man...you should see the snow here! we woke up to four inches of snow, and it snowed all day yesterday. Now there's a ton of it--beautiful, but sooo cold! Supposed to snow again Thursday, so we'll have a white Christmas! Your plans for the mountain house sound wonderful! Moving is always a stressful, worrisome time, but it sounds like it will be a great move for you guys. Loved the snow angel, too!

Wow! All that snow! It's 60 here on the East Coast...no white Christmas for us I suppose :-(
Beautiful haiku...just like the photos...have fun!

I especially love the 2nd haiku! I woke up to a snowy world today, first time I've seen snow in several years!

I love the contrast of both haiku. The first is fun-filled snow play and the second encompasses winter's serenity. Lovely!
