This is an amazing walking trail at the end of my street. It looks down into the river canyon and goes on for miles. This community protects and treasures it so it will remain untouched.

Tammy, that is one lovely shot. And, you matched it with your haiku. I can imagine that people in your neighborhood treasure such a place.
I love lupins. What an amazing place, and such beautiful words you use to describe it, Tammy - thank you! (oh and perfect song for an Earth Day inspired post, too) XOXO
I'm imagining myself right now walking down that beauty full path!!! and coming back up to visit YOU!!!and getting that sweet cup of coffee! LOL xoCinda
I'm a woman who is on a mission to educuate people about ALS. 15 cases diagnosed a day in the US. There is no cure and most die between 2-5yrs.
Ask me about ALS?
I have lived w/ALS for 19yrs and found love 6yrs ago after 13yrs as a single mom. Now I have my 4yr old grandson and love to keep me going. I am not ALS it's just a part of who I am. It has been a blessing to have been given time to cut through the crap and see the beauty in life.

I envy you the walking path so close to home. What a beautiful picture, I love the lupins!!! They look like clouds of lavender.
Your haiku is perfect, as always.
Love you, Robin!

What a beautiful photo and haiku. It's wonderful that the community has acted to protect the trail.
Beautiful and beautiful! I haven't been by your blog in a while and I really missed it! Glad I made my way back here.

The first purples of spring never cease to amaze me. Your haiku says everything I love about walking trails. How I long for one here such as that.

The lupin was so beautiful, I know my dad was dissapointed there wasn't more when we went on our walk. But, it so beautiful, I love the poem as well.
