Water Feature Almost Done

This is how we left it two weeks ago.
(Click photos to see details)

This is after this weekend.

The red dirt needs gorilla hair bark so we don't track mud in the house. Dave wants more plants so we need irrigation for this area. The seating and fish will be last and that's when I will get a final shot with the lighting. The sound in the video does not capture the sound very well but you will get the gist. The guys worked hard and did a great job! A big hug and thank you to my brother Patrick!

I'll be away from my computer for a few days. I'll be out on the deck with Steven Wilson's book "Ascent from Darkness."

Oh, the video DOES capture the sound quite well I must say...thanks a lot...now I gotta pee.

Seriously, it's very beautiful. They did some awesome work there.

I hope you enjoy sitting by that while you read your book. (Nice chatting with ya today, buddy...and I'm glad our pups got to say hello too!)

Love you,
Nancy

Oh wow! It's like a little piece of Eden there. With seating there, I don't know if I'd ever come back inside - at least during the day, lol. Thanks for giving us the video too - I almost felt like I was there!

Oh, Tammy, that is so incredibly BEAUTIFUL! And I love that you did the video with sound. It makes me wonder (for the umpteenth time) what I'm doing landlocked in Texas.

Enjoy your deck time!

Very pretty in a nice garden/natural way. I can hardly wait to see it when it is growing.

How I would love to fly out and sit with you by the waterfall, soaking up the sounds, colors and fragrances of spring. I have to admit that I am envious of a woman with a husband who is horticulturaly (is that a word?) inspired.

Oh that is the kind of place that just feeds your soul! Beautiful! Enjoy it.

What an incredible transformation! The waterfall looks as if it has been there forever. You've got an amazing variety of plants adding to the beauty of the water. The sound is soothing and lovely.

Fantastic work - a credit to your brother and to your husband. I hope you have lots of happy hours sitting enjoying the peace - and maybe even doing a spot of fishing??? Just kidding!

Dave can tell you this is a "water feature" but I know the truth...he ran over a sprinkler head with the lawnmower and he's just covering it up :) ;) :)

Ah Tammy, your creek is soooo beautiful. Kudos to Dave et al for their wonderful work. I'm sending the link to Elaine so she can see it. I just spoke with Barbara yesterday. We are talking about a visit in July and we can all get together. More about that as things develop. Hugs, Annie
